INVITATIONAL
WHAT IS INVITATIONAL?
For the past 20 years, the Invitational case competition has been a part of CBS Case Competition, generating lifetime experiences for participants, audiences, juries, and partners – a truly unique tradition that will continue in 2024. 12 teams will be selected and invited from the top business schools in the world to compete in the competition. The teams will be challenged in assessing the real-life issues which organizations are facing today, analyzing available information, crafting solutions, and defending their recommendations in front of a jury of high-level business leaders. They will be doing this during a week in Copenhagen, alongside social and professional events, all in all to create lifetime experiences.

FAQ
The competition takes place in week 9, 2024, from Saturday, February 24th to Friday, March 1st, 2024. The whole week will include entertaining and challenging events in Copenhagen, Denmark.
On March 1st, 2024, after a full week of socializing and cracking cases, the three teams with the best solutions will represent their university in the grand final with more than 500 people in the audience.
The final will take place live in an auditorium at CBS, but will also be live-streamed for viewers who are not able to be present at the final.
The competition is a by-invitation-only format for undergraduate case teams. Every year, 12 talented teams get invited to participate. To be eligible for participation, each team has to be supported by a faculty advisor from the respective university.
Our selection criteria are based on the following:
· A prominent case team of four undergraduate students
· Previous case-solving experience
· International representation
All expenses in terms of participation are covered by CBS Case Competition. Except the transport back and forth to Copenhagen.
